UC Davis Walker Hall

Davis, CA

Walker Hall is a renovation and adaptive re-use project that converts a 1927 historic ag engineering building into a 34,000 square foot Graduate Student Center and General Assignment Classroom facility.

The project is situated centrally on the UC Davis campus, next to the undergrad student commons, and affords easy access to all students. The Graduate Student Center at the ground floor and second floor levels provides new spaces for graduate student services, administration and a Graduate Commons. Three General Assignment Classrooms of varying size are situated in the building wings, and are designed to accommodate a variety of flexible and collaborative teaching/learning methodologies. The building is targeting LEED Gold certification.
